梦千寻小编 爱美剧
小编今天和人吹牛说我们最近“半年一更”，仔细掐指一算只能呵呵自己了（此处应该有姚明表情一个）。
其实这半年来小编还是看了不少美剧的，其中堪称神剧的自然要数疑犯追踪(Person of Interest)。这部围绕着AI(人工智能)的剧以预言了“棱镜门”时间而声名大噪，而他的编剧又是乔纳森*诺兰(Jonathan Nolan)。没错，就是Interstellar的编剧！(当然电影方面他哥是更吊炸天的那个)
先给没看过剧的客官们普及一下剧情：
POI is a crime thriller about a presumed dead former-CIA agent, Reese, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Finch, to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante(义务警察) justice. Reese’s special training in covert operations appeals to Finch, a software genius who invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. Using state-of-the-art surveillance technology, the two work outside of the law, using Reese’s adept skills and Finch’s unlimited wealth to unravel the mystery of the “person of interest” and stop the crime before it happens. Reese’s actions draw the attention of the NYPD, including homicide detective Carter, and Fusco, a cop whom Reese uses to his advantage. With infinite crimes to investigate, Reese and Finch find that the right person, with the right information, at the right time, can change everything.
总之，主角Finch就是一个富得掉渣，同时聪明的要死的大叔，自己研发了一套用Big Data 和机器学习抓罪犯的神秘系统。
小编一直很感慨编剧的奇思妙想，直到前段时间看了那本最近很流行的From zero to one，发现了一个很酷拽狂野吊炸天的PayPal创始人大叔Alex Karp：
这位大叔是Palantir(帕兰提尔)公司的头，关于这家神秘的公司，看看谷歌搜索的前几条结果就会被震住：
这尼玛不是和Finch玩的一样的东西么？而且同样是大！富！翁！
于是小编专门登到酷大叔公司网站膜拜了一眼：
公司的slogan是：
We build products that make people better at their most important work — the kind of work you read about on the front page of the newspaper, not just the technology section.
这气场。。。把小编收了吧！
By the way，Palantir这个名字是来源于指环王里面的Palantir石，这种石头可以帮助剧中人物和其它石头建立联系，从而可以看到附近的图像。
好吧，大叔先8这么多，有兴趣的童鞋们可以自己再去挖挖。接下来讲讲这部剧后几季中的大反派，另外一个邪恶的AI：Samaritan(撒玛利亚人)。
其实小编一直觉得这只是个略洋气的普通名字而已，直到小编看了《耶路撒冷三千年》和《犹太人与犹太教》，才发现Samaritan其实是一个犹太部落的名称，它的希伯来语是שוֹמְרִים Samerim ，含义是”Guardians/Keepers/Watchers [of the Law/Torah]，而Torah则是犹太教的教义经典。这么看来这名字起的和它在剧里面的角色还真是很搭的。
最后关于这部剧的主题AI，推荐客官们看看卷福演的《模仿游戏》（改编自图灵传），内容是关于“计算机和人工智能之父”Alan Turing（图灵）帮助盟军破译德军密码的故事。（真是传奇的一生，看的小编简直要哭了）
